This training aims to transform the ways in which new and seasoned reflective supervisors/consultants support professionals to cultivate reflectivity and explore feelings and reactions in their work with pregnant women, infants, young children, and families.  All three days are required to complete the training series, and in order to meet the NJ-AIMH Endorsement requirements for the 15-hour didactic training in providing Reflective Supervision/Consultation necessary to obtain the Infant Mental Health Mentor - Clinical designation. Also, if participants have not experienced receiving reflective supervision, or if participants would like the opportunity to receive additional reflective supervision, a 12-hour group consultation experience will be offered after the training series is completed for an additional fee ($180 for six 2-hour group consultation sessions). Having experienced reflective supervision for at least 12 sessions is a requirement for being considered a vetted Reflective Supervisor/Consultant as per the NJ-AIMH Endorsement Committee. The objectives of this training include: • To learn the best practice guidelines for Reflective Supervision Consultation for new and/or seasoned reflective supervisors/consultants • To review how reflective supervisors/consultants might enhance professionals’ ability to identify risks to the physical, emotional, and relational health of infants and young children and to respond appropriately. • To identify strategies to help professionals develop the capacity to shift perspective, address personal biases, set boundaries, and slow down, observe, and listen. • To practice the essential elements and collaborative tasks of providing reflective supervision/consultation  This training is being offered to NJ-AIMH members at significant cost savings of $300.00.  If you are not yet an NJ-AIMH member and would like to join before registration, please visit:  Membership is $35 per calendar year, so joining would be a more economical choice than registering as a general member.
