      Christmas Candelight Tour of the Biltmore and dinner at The Bistro

      If you've never done the Christmas Candlelight Tour of the Biltmore then you are in for a treat! Firelight and candlelight fill the house with a warm glow and accent delicate ornaments and priceless treasures, while the Front Lawn of Biltmore House sets the scene with a sparkling holiday illumination of evergreens bathed in thousands of twinkling lights. The North Carolina Symphony provides beautiful Christmas music while you tour the house. Candlelight packages are $69 and include evening admission to the Biltmore House, daytime visit to the gardens and grounds as well as the new Antler Hill Village and winery. There are a variety of hotel options, even some that offer special package prices. Dinner will be at The Bistro at Biltmore. We'll meet and car pool to Asheville. It's approximately a 6 hour drive so if we leave by 7 am we should arrive around 1:30 or so, allowing time for check in and touring the grounds, winery etc. Some hotel packages include breakfast and extras but I need to gauge the level of interest, etc, as some offer group rates depending on how many are participating. Let me know as soon as possible whether or not you would like to participate and I will research hotel options and post those so we can make reservations early (this is an event that is highly in demand and many hotels book up early). This would be a great opportunity to do a little Christmas shopping, too!
