The John Labatt Centre London Ontario opened October 11, 2002 and is named after the founder of London's Labatt Brewery. The largest multi-purpose sports and entertainment facility in Ontario's Southwest region, the venue was designed with several unique features including accessible seating on each and every one of its levels.
Home to the London Knights hockey team, The John Labatt Centre London has also played host to numerous other events over the years; everything from the 2005 Memorial Cup, Disney on Ice and WWE, to performances including those from Rhianna, Cirque du Soleil and Bob Dylan, to Billy Joel and Justin Bieber.
Capable of seating up to 9,090 people for hockey / ice events and over 10,000 for concerts / performances, The John Labatt Centre London boasts a further quality, having been designed also to accommodate touring Broadway shows and musicals. When in use as a theatre, the venue can seat up to 2800 people.
Located in the heart of the city's downtown area, The John Labatt Centre London is is now recognized as being one of the Top 100 arena venues in the world based on 2009 ticket sales.
