Valdez Torpedoes Swim Club Banana Meet

This meet is hosted by Valdez Torpedoes Swim Club and held under sanction by USA Swimming and Alaska Swimming. All swimmers must be currently registered with USA Swimming. Swimmers must swim in the age group corresponding to their age on the day of the meet. Fees are $25.00 for Facility Surcharge per Team, $3.00 per Swimmer, $ 2.25 per individual event and $5.00 per relay event. Entries must be postmarked by March 26st, 2013, or emailed by Sunday, March 31st, 2013. Late entries will not be accepted. Only individual events in the appropriate age group will be scored. Scoring will be through sixth (6) places in accordance with USA rules (7-5-4-3-2-1). Heat winners receive bananas. The winning team is determined by the most Heat winners at the end of the meet. Awards are given for 1st-3rd place teams. Ribbons will be awarded from 1st to 6th places finishers in each individual event. 1st - 3rd place boy and girl overall finishers in each age division receive Medals.
