      Have you ever wondered about the role Colbert County, Alabama played in the Civil War? The documentary Sesquicentennial Civil War History of Colbert County, Alabama sponsored by the Colbert County Historical Landmarks Foundation and produced by Historical Truth 101 will transport you through time so that you can discover all of the documented Colbert County historical events and local family lore from this difficult and perilous time in history.

      Sesquicentennial Civil War History of Colbert County, Alabama will premier as part of the Railroad Heritage Day celebration on March 23, 2013 at 10:00 AM and again at 3:00 PM at the Roundhouse in Tuscumbia, AL. The cast of Civil War re-enactors, the technical and costuming director, Tracy Scott Landon, and writer and historical director, Tim Kent, will all be on hand at the premier.

      The premier of Sesquicentennial Civil War History of Colbert County, Alabama will be the first event to be held in the new Roundhouse in Tuscumbia. Come out to view the film, see the Roundhouse and learn the significant role Colbert County played in the Civil War.
