The Gospel Starlights
The Gospel Starlights started singing in June of 1990 in the home of our parents, Mr. Bennie Frank Hill and Mrs. Betty Gean Hill. They were all sitting there in the living room talking about forming a gospel group. The name, The Gospel Starlights, came from the mother of the group. She looked up towards the heavenly stars for an answer and coined the title, The Gospel Starlights. From that experience came our group motto: Look up towards heaven for an answer. The only musician at that time was their father on lead guitar. Also at that time, they were 10 members strong.
