Primitive Living Skills for Children: Harvesting and Processing Spring Plants for Survival

The Nature Place Day Camp’s Primitive Living Skills is an immersive, hands-on (and hands-in—the fire pit, the dirt, the stream) program, designed to build a foundation in wilderness skills. Created especially for children ages 10-14, this session explores which plants that grow in the Spring are useful for survival techniques, and how to process and prepare them for use (i.e. cordage, medicinal, food, etc.). Gain new skills, feel comfortable in nature, and make new friends!

      Cost: Payment required - 45.00
