      Civil War Symposium

      Join us for a "Chancellorsville 150th Commemoration" as we kick-off the re-enactment weekend. Our presenters will take a close look at the Battle of Chancellorsville, fought from April 30-May 6, 2013, as we mark its anniversary. Featured presenters include historian and author Chris Mackowski, Kristopher White, John Cummings and Daniel Davis former historian for Fredericksburg & Spotsylvania National Military Park and Appomattox Court House National Historic Site.  Speakers and topics are listed below.

      Daniel Davis "Augmenting their Boldness: Stoneman's Raid and its Impact on the Union Cavalry"

      This event is hosted by the Friends of Fredericksburg Area Battlefields Thursday, May 2 from 5:30-9pm. Light fare will be provided.
