Join North Coast Land Conservancy Executive Director Katie Voelke and local ecologist Mike Patterson for a fun family nature walk at Circle Creek, North Coast Land Conservancy's 364-acre habitat reserve just south of Seaside. We'll explore the emerging forest that is growing up along the banks of the creek, home to many native plants, wild critters and birds.
What to bring: Water and snacks. Please wear sturdy shoes that can get muddy and dress appropriately for the day's weather. Binoculars are always a good idea! NCLC will supply nature exploring tools. Parents, please acompany your children on this walk!
Walk Info: There is no formal trail surface, and we will be walking in some taller grass, but the ground is level and mostly even. The walk lengnth will be paced to the group's ages and interests, but will probably run about an hour. Restrooms will be available at NCLC's office building at Circle Creek.
This program is free, but registration is required.
