Abeni Cultural Arts presents "Visions: An Odyssey in Black Dance"
"Visions" is a dance concert for Black History Month that celebrates the history of African-Americans. The show takes the audience on a journey through Africa, slavery, freedom, the Harlem Renaissance, Vietnam and other pieces of history. The story is told through modern, African, jazz, ballet, tap, and hip hop dance styles as well as singing and acting. Performances will be held at the Black Box at S.P.A.C.E. (9 W. Henry St.) Tickets are $5.00. Show dates are:
Feb. 24 & 25 at 7pm
Feb. 26 at 3pm
