The change of seasons is a great time to be more mindful and attentive to what you are eating. Join Chef Jenny Brewer to learn ways to nourish yourself this summer with lighter and more energizing choices, like living foods and juices. Discover delicious and unique ways to eat more of the best produce summer has to offer all within a supportive, like minded group of women. In this revitalizing weekend, you’ll learn: What foods to eat this season to support, nourish and heal your body How to always have healthy food you love to eat, when you need it Tips for keeping your hormones and blood sugar balanced What sweeteners to use to make amazing desserts that are good for you How to incorporate more living foods into your diet this summer How to create healthy dishes that are great for potlucks and picnics! Friday, June 22: 5:30 to 9:00 pm: Dinner Party Kickoff: Prepare healthy recipes that will wow your guests, complete with ‘mocktails'. Saturday, June 23: 11:30-5:30 pm Healthy Lunch Redux: Enjoy creating a delicious “Power-Picnic” packed with the best foods to eat midday for sustained energy. Healthy Treats and Sweets: Explore how to satisfy your cravings for sweets with nutrient-rich treats and raw desserts that make you feel great in your body! Sunday, June 24: 10-1:30 pm Best of Sunday Brunch: Learn to make scrumptious breakfast favorites in a healthy way, featuring whole foods and unrefined sweeteners, without compromising taste or satisfaction. This class features sustainable fish and pasture-raised eggs, and there are always vegan options. Each class participant will recieve a personalized binder with all the recipes from class. Ticket price covers all three days. Sign up for the first day only. About the Instructor: Jenny Brewer is a nutritionist and natural foods chef who believes healthy food should be fun and flavorful. She's a graduate of the Chef’s Training Program at the Natural Gourmet Cookery School in New York City, has a Masters Degree in Nutrition and is a Certified Nutrition Specialist.
