Description
"Paul" and "Ray" both in their late 50's, have known each other since high school. The guys planned a road trip in Paul's then new, 1973 VW bus he received as a graduation present from his parents. The trip never happened.
30+ years later, each of them has experienced loss and tragedy in their own lives. Paul's wife was killed tragically in a car accident three years ago and he has never gotten over it. Ray's business that he built from the ground up went bankrupt due to the economy and his wife filed for divorce to add insult to injury.
As the Paul and Ray travel 3000 miles across California and Nevada in the old VW bus, they discover nothing is what they expected!
At the climax of the story, it becomes apparent to both friends, that life is more than their circumstances! That the "Ride IS the Destination"!
