      A Franklin County Christmas

'Tis the season for holly, jolly fun at the 10th Annual Come Home to a Franklin County Christmas event on Friday, Dec. 6 at 5 p.m. The event opens with the "Biggest Little Parade" in Franklin County, just as the streets are closed for the much-anticipated festival. The event also features horse-drawn carriage rides, music, dancing, an array of food and craft vendors, and more.

Headlining this year's list of performers will be The Corey Hunley Band and Ashley Forrest, presented by the Harvester Performance Center, on stage at the Farmers' Market. Also performing will be the Ferrum College Collegiates, the Benjamin Franklin Middle School Marching Band, dancers from the Blue Ridge Performing Arts Academy, and Aspen Black and Empowered who will perform on the "Jamin' Along the Crooked Road" stage, located at The Franklin Center. In addition, the festival will feature a hot glass, wood burning demonstration at The Grainery, a Quilt Trail of Franklin County exhibit and an opportunity for patrons of all ages to Visit with Santa.
