      Michigan Department of Education Office of Health and Nutrition Services Child and Adult Care Food Program PRESENTS: CACFP NEW MEAL PATTERN REQUIREMENT REFRESHER TRAINING You must go to:   www.Eventbrite.com to register for this workshop.   CACFP reserves the right to cancel trainings due to low participation. (You must be registered and have your ticket to attend this training.) This training is designed to provide information on the CACFP Meal Pattern Requirements published on April 25, 2016. The Institute of Child Nutrition will be conducting the Meal Pattern Training. The CACFP Meal Pattern Refresher Training is recommended but not required for CACFP participants. CACFP and School Meal Program’s infant and preschool meal patterns Transition Year for technical assistance related to the updated meal pattern violations has ended. Per regulation, non-compliance with meal pattern requirements may result in meals being disallowed and possible recoupment of reimbursement. This refresher will assist participants to ensure they are serving creditable CACFP meal components. Due to limited seating, no walk-in participants will be allowed to attend. Limited timeline for waitlist registration. The refund deadline is 2 weeks prior to the training date. Participants attending the CACFP Meal Pattern Requirement Refresher Training will be charged a $25.00 per person fee to cover the cost of meals (breakfast and lunch) at the training site.   TRAINING OVERVIEW: CACFP MEAL PATTERN REQUIREMENTS Agenda: Lessons include  Milk Component  Vegetable Updates  Meat/Meat Alternates  Grain Components  Child and Adult Meal Service   8:00am – 5:00pm Meal Pattern Requirements   NOTE: You must create a log in and password on www.Eventbrite.com to register for CACFP trainings.   Please save your Log in name and Password information. CACFP staff will not have access to any log in or password information.   PLEASE PRINT OUT YOUR REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION! You must bring your registration ticket to this training. Due to limited seating, no walk-in participants will be allowed to attend. Limited timeline for waitlist registration. The sign-in time for this training is from 7:45am-8:00am. The refund deadline is 2 weeks prior to the training date.
