The Internet, hailing from Santa Barbara, California, is a post-punk/shoegaze band. It consists of Syd Bernardo, Marvin Dominguez, Oscar Murillo Jr., and Andrew Verdin.

The Internet’s debut EP released to iTunes and Amazon in May 2010. This, however, was merely a formality as the band made the album available for free via a fake-poll from its website; a move that has been heavily criticized as “career DOA” by nobody (yet).
