Josey Greenwell

Well lets see…I was born on August 26, 1988 and just turned 20...but lets not talk about that because it only reminds me im growing up way fast ha! I grew up in the small town of Bardstown, Kentucky and began singing pretty young. I started writing last November and now am in Nashville? Crazy huh?!? I like to hang out with my friends as much as I can and try to do something athletic at least once a day. I have 2 sisters Lisa and Lesley who both live far away from me, yea I know it’s pretty sad. I’m a big family guy and my mom pretty much holds us together throughout everything we do. Seriously.....nothing beats the beach and summertime and you know it I used to compete in horse shows around the northeast until I was about 13 years old. If you like my songs....we're probably gonna be friends (simple as that!) I don’t know what kind of person I would be if my dad was alive, but I know who I’ve become because he's not and I have learned to live, laugh, and love as much as possible. I’m pretty independent and will usually do anything on my own. I'm kind of indecisive about alot of stuff, well not really.....i mean I don't know I guess it just depends on what it is... I eat subway like its my job. I could listen to John Mayer's "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room" for days ...and in fact have! I’ve always loved singing and country music, and oddly enough I’ve always been good at writing…..so I just recently decided "Hey why not put these two together?" .... and started writing songs about less than a year ago and it’s been a crazzzy ride ever since. I got hooked up a producer in Nashville (William Smith) and we have been cutting some tracks and just finished a record! I’m so excited about it because my songs put together with his brilliant producing skills has created one awesome album with a definitely unique sound...youll have to check it out! So with that being said…..I want to thank everyone at the Tyler Music Group who put so much hard work into this. Thanks I love you all!
