      I absolutely adore Jay-Z. One of his many fans I am. I like the fact that he hasnt just been successful alone. He have given to his community as well as invested his earnings into other worthy causes. Im not a celebrity but I am sure thier day to day lives are hectic, especially trying to live thier lives he way the media wants them to. Celebrities arent perect!!! As we all know none of us are. So why do people expect them to be perfect in the worlds eyes?? Let them live! Just like Jay-Z's song entitled, "Can I Live?" LOL I absolutely love this man for the things he's done and going to do. I believe his is the "REALEST" Lyricist. No one can swagger jack him, he is ONE OF A KIND!!! Oh yea, please dont compare my Jay-Z to Jim Jones, they are on two totally different levels. Jay has been in the game for 11years Jim Jones has yet to accomplish what he has. No matter what pathetic lyrics come out his mouth. Hes absoultely no worthy to be put in a category with Jay. In addition, he co-owns The 40/40 Club, and is a part owner of the New Jersey Nets NBA team. He is one of the most financially successful American hip-hop artists.[1]

    Known for his flow and blending of street and popular rap, Jay-Z has become one of the best-selling rappers in the hip hop industry. He has also received a considerable amount of critical acclaim, with legendary Public Enemy front man Chuck D calling him "the greatest MC of all time" and "the embodiment of all of the MC up to his point". [2] He is admired for his ability to compose lyrics without the use of pen and paper[3] (his critically acclaimed album The Blueprint was written in only two days).[4] He also returned from retirement in late 2006 with the album Kingdom Come which sold 680,000 copies in its first week, Jay-Z's highest-selling album in a one-week period. [5]

    Along with Damon "Dame" Dash and Kareem "Biggs" Burke, Jay-Z was one of the founders of Roc-A-Fella Records, a hip-hop record label.

    Jay-Z was recently named the greatest rapper of all time by Rolling Stone magazine. This honor can most likely be attributed to his talents, his financial successes, and his longevity in the forefront of mainstream hip-hop consciousness.
