      STATE REQUIREMENT
      Statewide: At least one certified manager per facility. When four or more employees are present at an establishment, there must be one certified manger per shift.

      Florida- Department of Agriculture:All food service managers who are responsible for the storage, preparation, display and serving of foods to the public must successfully pass a Food Manager Certification examination. Each licensed establishment shall have at least one certified food manager.

      Florida- Department of Business and Professional Regulation:Mandatory. Each establishment must have at least one certified food manager, who must pass an approved exam. Food Managers will have 30 days to obtain certification. As of 01/01/01, all food handlers who are responsible for storage, preparation, display, or service of foods must be certified.

      Florida- Department of Health:All food service managers who are responsible for the storage, preparation, display and serving of foods to the public must successfully pass a Food Manager Certification examination. Each licensed establishment shall have at least one certified food manager.

      Class is held from 9am-6pm with a 45 minute lunch break. After class the proctored test will be given. Class is 8 hours plus 1 ½ hours for test.
