Scotiabank Place Ottawa opened in 1996 as The Palladium, but has officially functioned under the existing Scotiabank Place Ottawa title since 2006. A multi-purpose entertainment venue, Scotiabank Place Ottawa has a capacity of over 20,000 (depending on the event), and as such, is the ideal location for large-scale concerts and sporting events. Indeed, the fact that the venue is home to the Ottawa Senators hockey team ensures that the Scotiabank Scedule is never quiet.

As well as hosting major events such as the final of the Stanley Cup, Disney on Ice, Cirque du Soleil, WWE Smackdown and Walking with Dinosaurs, the Scotiabank Place schedule also features some of the biggest names from the entertainment world; Cher, Britney Spears, Tina Turner, Sting, Justin Bieber, Black Eyed Peas, Taylor Swift, John Mayer, Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen and Elton John are just a few of those to have graced the stage at Scotiabank Place Ottawa over the years.
