      2016 Midwest Regenerative Medicine Meeting

Regenerative medicine is an exciting and rapidly developing area of research, with roots in developmental biology. It is also an extremely interdisciplinary area, with input from engineering, developmental and cell biology, genetics, genomics and many clinical disciplines. Because of the rapid pace of the field and the varied nature of the research it is important to bring scientists together to share current advances and initiate collaborations. Through this inagural meeting we wish to provide a forum to encourage and advance the scientific development of faculty and trainees working in regenerative medicine and to catalyze collaborations.  The meeting is planned to feature postdocs especially, with ample opportunities for talks, networking, and poster sessions. In addition, we will put emphasis on students and young establishing investigators.   The venue for the meeting is the Allerton Park and Recreation Center in Monticello, IL.  ****Please note that students and postdocs that are members of the Society for Developmental Biology (SDB) are eligilble to apply for a scholarship that covers the full cost of your registration.  For more information, please visit our website at   FAQs  What are my transport/parking options getting to the event? Parking is free and ample at the Allerton Park and Retreat Center.   Where can I contact the organizer with any questions? Contact us by emailing us at
