"Marion Downtown Chili Championship" and "Downtown Days Festival"

Always the third weekend in July, downtown Marion hosts its' biggest festival of the year! Friday night, it's the Marion Downtown Chili Championship and the "Show 'n' Shine" Car Show beginning at 6pm. Live street dance featuring regional favorite "Phantom" from 7 til midnight. Saturday, enjoy peak season at the Marion Regional Farmers Market from 8 til noon. Saturday night, it's LIVE music on the downtown stages from 6 til 11. Park downtown and ride the free shuttle to the annual Hungry Mother Festival at nearby Hungry Mother State Park all weekend! Free admission, free parking! It all takes place on Main Street in historic Downtown Marion, VA!
