    This is such a great event to go to. We went the last few years and had a ball. So much free stuff is given away. The people of this town are just so friendly. I hope to see Georgia Public Broadcasting's Phil Proctor when they film The Georgia Traveler TV show.
Description
Lyerly Down Home Day is an annual festival in the NW Georgia mountains, with live entertainment, that is held each year on the last Saturday of September from 9-3 to celebrate the founding of Lyerly, GA. We have lots of entertainment for the whole family. Bluegrass, Contemporary Christian Artist, Gospel singing and more. There will be a cake walk, toilet seat horseshoes for the men, skillet toss for the women, cow patty bingo, free hay rides, free horse and wagon rides, inflatables for the kids, food vendors, craft vendors and lots of free items. Door prizes are given out through out the day. Come out and enjoy our town festival with us! Pleae call Lyerly City Hall for more information or to rent a booth at 706-895-2611.
