Description

Home of Porter's Pub, the UCSD Price Center is a student center located just south of the Geisel Library on the University of California, San Diego campus. With a multitude of eateries, stores, student organizations and a movie theater, the UCSD Price Center is a constant hive of activity.

Since the venue's opening in 1993, the UCSD Price Center schedule has featured a wide variety of acts and events from the worlds of music, film, dance and more. In 2003, students voted in favor of the creation of a larger platform on which to experience the wealth of talent on offer at the UCSD Price Center. A referendum was passed, and a $64 million expansion plan was put into operation - a plan which would see the UCSD Price Center increase to almost twice its original size. The university marked the official opening of Price Center East on May 18, 2008.
