      Cacao & Sound Ceremony - April 25

Spa Montage Kapalua Bay invites Christina Felty and Paul Balmer of Shanti Sound Healing The journey begins with the ceremonial drink, cacao (2 to 3oz.). Healing properties of cacao will be shared for a soothing transition to a brief guided chakra meditation. Bathed in the sounds of a 36” water gong, Tibetan singing bowls, drum, rattle and chimes participants will journey through a deep meditation.  Yoga mats and water will be provided. For a more comfort and relaxing experience, feel free to bring any material such as a pillow, shawl and blanket. Kindly refrain from consuming alcohol or other substances beforehand. Consumption of water is highly recommended. Do indulge in a light meal 2-3 hours before the class.  Please be advised: We do not recommend this class to participants with a major heart condition (increases heart rate 15-20%), those using anti-depressants/anti-psychotics (SSRI, MAOI) and women who are pregnant. Mothers who are breastfeeding may take a smaller dosage of cacao.  Due to its raw nature cacao can be bitter and may cause nausea for some people. The more cacao you consume on a regular basis, the less you need. Description of the cacao:Unsweetened and made with organic ceremonial cacao paste and spring water. A few spices are added to enhance the experience. Permaculture shade grown, sustainably harvested, direct trade, hand-picked, organic, vegan, paleo, keto approved, GMO free, soy and gluten free. At $45 per person, space is limited. Must be 16 years and older. Advance reservations required. Doors open at 5:45pm.
