Very Young People's Concerts: Symphonic Citizenship

Symphonic Citizenship compares being a good citizen to being a good orchestra member using the character traits that many schools emphasize for young students: friendship, courage, sharing, waiting your turn, following directions and teamwork. These concerts are created specifically for students in pre-school through second grade. Audience members will have the opportunity to participate along with the orchestra in Bizet's Les Toreadors and sing-a-long with the KSO to Beethoven's Symphony No. 9. Highlights of this concert include: Mozart's Overture to The Marriage of Figaro, Haydn's Surprise Symphony, Copland's Variations on a Shaker Melody and Beethoven's Symphony No. 9. Join the KSO and special guests Go! Contemporary Dance on January 24, 2018 at 9:30 AM(seats are limited) or 11:00 AM. For tickets call 865-291-3310.

Cost: Tickets are $8 each, with one adult free for every 10 paying students. Groups of less than 50, please confirm your number as you will be asked to pay when you reserve your seats.
