      IJAMS BIRDS-N-BAGELS: Backyard Conservation

      FOR AGES 14 AND UP Designed for adults and older children, Birds-n-Bagels provides a fun and light-hearted look at the avian world while enjoying delicious bagels from local Paysan Bakery! This month we will discover how you can turn your regular birding activities into conservation action. We will cover Ebird, project Nestwatch, and other projects as well as diving into the history of Bird Conservation. We then head out onto the trails to collect some real world data. (Please bring your binoculars) LOCATION: This program meets in the Multipurpose Room in the Ijams Visitor Center, and includes time on the Ijams trails. Please bring sturdy shoes and weather appropriate clothing. REGISTRATION: The fee for this program is $10 per person. EVERYONE MUST HAVE A TICKET.
