The critically acclaimed Jonathan Butler returns to South Africa with his brand new show: Evolution.

The show documents the legends extraordinary journey in music from when he was just a boy to the mature, reputable artist he is today.

The show reunites Jonathan with legendary performers Ronnie Joyce and Lionel Petersen who will perform together again after almost 35 years.

Evolution walks us through their tumultuous start during the apartheid days to the establishment of their life saving relationship with God.

The last time the three performed together was during the political turmoil of a country divided yet slowly evolving. Fans will be transported back in time and treated to many of Jonathan’s songs plus new tracks from his latest gospel CD, Grace and Mercy.

The show will also feature, amongst others, such classics as Lionel Petersen’s “Bouncy Bouncy Bounce”, “Come Back Liza”, Ronnie Joyce’s “Give a Little Love”, “Everybody Knows” plus the classic duet “It Takes Two”. Join us for an evening that celebrates a time when music was all that mattered and the sounds of Jonathan Butler, Lionel Peterson and Little Ronnie Joyce filled the airwaves.
