      "Science on Tap", aimed at making science accessible and exciting to everyone! We will bring a diverse set of speakers studying a range of scientific topics from Cornell into the community who will strive to present their research in an authentic but also an engaging and understandable way.
      “Unexpectedly stalled: The long path to uncovering the causes and consequences of brain blood flow disruptions in Alzheimer’s disease”

      Chris Schaffer, Associate Professor and Associate Dean of the Faculty, Meinig School of Biomedical Engineering, Cornell University

      Prof. Schaffer will summarize recent findings on the mechanisms that lead to brain blood flow deficits in Alzheimer’s disease and the truly winding path to this discovery, emphasizing that that often good science comes when we are looking for something else.
