Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, formerly known as Irvine Meadows, is located in Irvine, California. Verizon Wireless Amphitheater Irvine is currently the largest live-music venue in Orange County. Verizon Wireless Amphitheater Irvine first opened in August 1981. With about 10,000 reserved seats and 6,000 lawn seats, Verizon Wireless Amphitheater Irvine has a maximum capacity of over 16,000. Verizon Wireless Amphitheater Irvine is owned by the Irvine Company and is currently a Live Nation venue.
The Verizon Wireless Amphitheater schedule hosts a number of musical events from various musical genres. Iron Maiden, Michael Jackson, Eric Clapton, Miley Cyrus, Linkin Park, Dave Matthews Band, and Blink-182 are just a few names that have been featured on the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater schedule.
