Fact: meditation has been recognized as one of the most powerful techniques available to restore mental, emotional and physical balance and vitality.2

As a professional, you can use meditation to help your patients, clients and students. This immersion retreat will also focus and strengthen your existing skills—while you earn continuing education credits. You’ll gain a thorough grounding in the principles of healing and evidence-based meditation, and learn how to integrate this transformative practice into your own life.

Topics included in this cutting-edge CE seminar are:

      • The fundamentals of teaching
      • Meditation as medicine: the five steps to healing
        • Anatomy and physiology review of the meditation posture and technique
        • The yoga-meditation synergy (including yoga practicum)
        • Practical teaching application: how to prescribe how to sit; when, where and how long to practice in order to enjoy benefits; skills for meditation in action

More than just a theoretical study, Meditation Specialist™ Teacher Training gives you practical pointers for bringing meditation into your professional activities; keys to furthering your personal meditation training; and the fundamental principles of healing through traditional yoga meditation. Under Dr. Taylor’s expert guidance, you’ll practice the meditation sequence and master the five steps of focused meditative awareness.

This retreat is the teacher methodology course of Dr. Susan Taylor’s acclaimed Meditation Specialist™ Training Program: a complete course in the theory, science and practice of meditation therapy, with a focus on healing meditation in a wide range of personal and professional environments.
