Spyro Gyra
A small group of musicians got together in Buffalo in the early 1970s to jam and have some fun. They had no intention of being a commercial success. Almost forty years and thirty albums later, Spyro Gyra has now performed over 5,000 shows and sold over ten million albums, including one platinum and two gold collections. The group has consistently been one of the most commercially successfully pop-jazz groups in history, and has been touring ever since it became a full-time venture in 1976.
