      Description

      The Didrichsen Museum of Art and Culture is a unique combination of art museum and private home on Kuusisaari island in Helsinki. Temporary exhibitions and permanent displays of ancient Chinese and pre-Columbian artefacts. Modern architecture and art, and a sculpture park by the sea.
      Open: 2008: Tue, Thu-Sun 11-18, Wed 11-20.; in summer (1.6.-31.7.) Tue-Sun 11-18. Admission: 2008: Adults 8€, children (7-18 years) 2€, students & pensioners 6€ (pensioners over 75 yrs free of charge). Location:  Buses 194, 195 from Eliel Square and buses 503-506. Disabled persons: Please notify in advance. Access to some areas with wheelchairs, assistant needed. No lift. No Inva-WC, but a large WC. Groups: Admission: school groups 2€/person (teatcher free), pensioners and other adult groups (over 10 persons) 5€/person, special exhibitions 6€. Guidance on request. Guides in Finnish, Swedish, English. Guide fee weekdays 55€, Sun 70€, school groups 30€. Possibility to arrange small snack on request.Museum shop, coffee and water automat. Car park.
