      Employee Motivation and Performance Management Are you effectively motivating your employees?  Are you managing your employees’ performance to help them achieve their full potential? Understanding motivational processes are key to maximizing your most valuable company resource, your people.  Come learn some of the most effective motivational theories and how to apply them to your business to help you increase the motivation of your employees.  Also, learn about some of the more recent techniques of performance management that can help you maximize your employees’ potential in a more efficient manner!    University Bio Dianne Murphy is an Assistant Professor of Management for the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business at UW-Green Bay. After a successful career in corporate, small business and consulting, she moved to academia to earn a Ph.D. in Management Science-Organizations and Strategic Management with an emphasis in Organizational Behavior from the Lubar School of Business at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee in May 2017.  She also holds an M.B.A. with a focus on Leadership from UW-Milwaukee, and a B.A. in Psychology from St. Norbert College. Dr. Murphy currently teaches Organizational Behavior at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and Introduction to Human Resource Management at the undergraduate level.  She has demonstrated strong teaching in a diverse array of topics, including Entrepreneurship, Diversity in Organizations, Operations Management, and Enterprise Resource Planning and Control (SAP).  Dr. Murphy has been awarded multiple research and teaching awards and brings over 20 years of multi-level industry experience into her research and classrooms. Her research interests include entrepreneurship, well-being, diversity, gender, mentoring, and the scholarship of teaching and learning.  Dr. Murphy’s research has been published in Personnel Psychology, and the Journal of Leadership and Organizational Studies; and her research has been featured in the London School of Economics Business Review newsletter and discussed in Harvard Business Review.  Dr. Murphy has presented her research and served as reviewer, discussant, session chair and ex-officio Board Member for various regional, national and international conferences including the Academy of Management, The Diana International Research Conference, the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Management and Organizational Behavior Teaching Society, and the Midwest Academy of Management.  My webpage:
