On the night of October 6, 2012, the Historic Gold Hill and Mines Foundation, Inc. will host "Haunted Gold Hill" a ParaEd & Investigation event to help raise money for historic preservation of the park. The Haunted Gold Hill ParaED and Investigation, an educational paranormal program, will consist of special guest investigators from Carolina Paranormal Society giving a 90 minute educational presentation on paranormal investigation, followed by four hours of investigation time at four different locations in the historic park.
