      Duhesa Lounge art exhibit

The Lory Student Center's Duhesa Lounge (located on the second floor lobby and east lounge) has been created to acknowledge the significance of the Native American heritage in this country, particularly in Colorado and the southwest Region.

The intent is to provide a permanent and prominent showcase for the artwork derived from this culture for the enjoyment and education of all who come to the center, provide a quiet place for study, reflection, and relaxation, and provide an environment for appropriate programs such as poetry readings and musical offerings.

This particular exhibit will be a mix of various things: pottery, dance regalia, sculpture, etc. The focus will be centered around the various traditions of North America.
