Put life back in your life! The Living Healthy workshop is a six-session peer-led health education program for people with any type of ongoing health condition. The classes complement the health care you may already be receiving. The purpose of the Living Healthy workshop is to enhance your ability to manage your health and maintain an active and fulfilling lifestyle. You do not need to have a chronic illness to attend. Maybe you know or care for someone who does. Living Healthy workshops help you:
â- Feel Better. Increase your energy and get relief from pain, fatigue and difficult emotions.
â- Take control of your life. Do the things you want to do each day.
â- Get connected. Have the opportunity to learn from others who have similar health issues.
Living Healthy workshops utilize the Chronic Disease Self-Management Program curriculum developed at Stanford University's Patient Education Center and are brought to you through a collaboration of Onondaga County Department of Aging and Youth, The Centers at St. Camillus and OASIS.

For more information please visit Stanford Patient Education Center's website at http://patienteducation.stanford.edu. Note: class is exempt from the $20 registration processing fee. Please arrive at 12:30 pm for the first session on February 6 to fill out paperwork. Class size is limited to 20. Meets in the Community Room of the Fayetteville Free Library.
