The conversation has already begun amongst neighbors, friends and family, Have You Joined The Conversation? The National Coalition Community Foundation (NCCF) have started this conversation to inform concerned consumers, church and community leaders of the current state of several economically distressed or At-Risk neighborhoods and the availability of federal and private funds to help fix our broken economy Right Now! The federal Government back in early 2009 had identified several additional at-risk areas or distressed neighborhoods through-out our major cities that have been earmarked to receive millions of dollars to help redevelop economically distressed urban neighborhoods.

The available funds have increased over the last eleven years since George W. the second Bush launched The Faith-Based Neighborhood Partnership and have continued to grow more than 2.2 billion dollars by 2005 and along with  Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative, Department of Housing and Urban Development even more new money has been made immediately available to help in the revitalization of distressed communities impacted by the foreclosure crisis, recent job lay-offs and the current economic situation.
