      Raid at Martin's Station

Slip into the shadows of Virginia's 1776 wilderness for a special commemoration of the Raid at Martin's Station. Activities include: tours of Cherokee warrior and colonial militia camps; tales about fort life; 18th century merchants and colonial traders; an announcement about the Virginia Project; and a special Sons of the American Revolution presentation featuring national speakers and a wreath-laying. Don't miss a new, first-person account by Mad Anne Bailey about women warriors as well as a seminar on colonial life by renowned lecturers Wallace Gusler and Eve Otmar. Always a crowd favorite, enjoy frontier battles between Cherokee warriors and settlers on Saturday at 1 and 8:30 p.m. Admission is $10 per vehicle on Friday and Saturday and $4 per vehicle on Sunday.
