      Mindfulness & Meditation 8 Week Course

      Mindfulness & Meditation 8 Week Course. Science, Psychology and Practice. This training will give you a deep, holistic understanding of mindfulness. We will take a look at underlying psychological processes within mindful thinking, explore scientific findings and practice integrating techniques into meditation practice and our daily lives. Mindfulness can be used as a strategy to manage difficult life situations, cope with stress and anxiety and develop a more harmonious relationship with yourself and your mind. By looking into a different topic each week, you will gain a more in-depth and wholesome understanding of mindfulness. Mindfulness has been proven to be very effective at helping people cope with stress and anxiety and is one of the most researched mental health tools.Use mindfulness and meditation for stress reduction and clear-thinking, anxiety reduction and to learn to be more aware of negative thinking patterns. Each week we will: Look deeply into a specific element of mindfulness Use scientific evidence to inform our practice Learn how to meditate and integrate mindfulness into our daily lives View weekly presentations Have fun and relax in a beautiful setting! (The view from the hall over the river is stunning) The course will run every Friday morning (10:30 - 12:30) for eight weeks. Please take a look at the dates below. There will be a small amount of practice at home required in-between sessions. Yoga mats will be provided but please feel free to bring along your own, or extra blankets and cushions as you see fit. She has been in the therapy and self-improvement world for over a decade and her work has been featured on the Huffington Post and various other blogs such as Yogamatters, Casa De Karma, Ms Health Esteem and also Mindfulness expert Rachael Kable's blog and podcast.  She is the author of popular mindfulness tool Gratitude Journal: 100 Days Of Gratitude Will Change Your Life and currently runs her private hypnotherapy/ psychotherapy practice at Truro Hypnotherapy Practice on St. Clement's Street in Truro, where she helps clients with issues such as depression, anxiety, panic attacks, confidence issues and more.
