      A Feel Good Evening With Dawn - Stress, Burnout & M.E.

      Featuring: Amazing Thai Street Food by 'Punk Thai' Fabulous live acoustic music from Antony Worsley Licensed Bar  Olfactory Coffee Bar After party for those who wish to mingle with the tribe and of course, 'The human mechanic' Dawn Symons Dawn says “I see your body as 'the car' and you as 'the driver'. My ‘car’ didn’t come with a manual, so I wrote one!" This is all about ME, You & The Children Trust me when I say that understanding some simple facts about the mechanisms of ‘your car’ can be REALLY advantageous when it comes to getting the most out of your body, dealing with the impact of Stress, Burnout & M.E. My Journey - Stress, Burnout & M.E. For years I suffered the symptoms of extreme stress which physically manifested into the painful, debilitating, depressing, life-changing symptoms and effects of M.E. / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome / Fibromyalgia.  Over time, I lost everything apart from hope, for I could see 'how' the system worked For more than a decade I actively researched then trial, error and tested whilst I formulated my M.E. Recovery Program. I expanded on knowledge that I had professionally/ personally experienced gained during the previous 20 years, I realised that I had ‘stumbled upon something’ VERY IMPORTANT. I was stunned, inspired and reassured by specific facts - ‘missing links’ - relating to every single human being. I realised the importance of my 'find' particularly for those already experiencing the physical/ emotional symptoms of long-term stress, Burnout and/ or M.E. and indeed their family members/ loved ones. What I offer you - Why this is relevant. Gaining a new, deeper perspective of how your body/mind works- including the power of thought - provides you with some of my essential ‘first aid kit’ tools that you need to build resilience and overcome not just the mental and emotional effects of stress, but indeed the physical ones. We have all experienced stress and know how it can affect every aspect of our life; job, relationships etc. However, understanding how longer-term stress creates physical illness/ difficulties including; extreme fatigue, M.E. anxiety, depression or addictions, can offer you the tools to begin to recover. This is not stress management, mindfulness, positive thinking or counselling!  My role is simply to help you liberate yourself from the physical & emotional experience of stress to improve your overall health and well-being as well as enjoy more peace and happiness in your personal/ professional relationships. I see my sessions as 'gardening for the mind'. Together, through conversation, we learn how to remove old beliefs, judgments and misunderstandings (the weeds) whilst we plant, water and nurture the seeds of ‘insight and understanding’ until they blossom and grow... It works, beautifully.
