Description
Social software, Weblogs, wikis, and enterprise strength collaboration tools are emerging into the mainstream of the corporate information workflow, along with tools for conferencing and connecting people and places. Web conferencing is an accepted alternative to face-to-face meetings in many functional business areas, instant messaging is gaining ground inside the firewall, and the use of shared workspaces and collaborative tools for project teams is becoming commonplace.

At C2: Connect & Collaborate!, attendees will learn from experts and practitioners how to put collaboration tools to work in a business environment, and turn them into strategic assets that can contribute to increased productivity. During this 2-day event, knowledgeable speakers will discuss how to build the business case for deploying new collaborative tools and how to prove their value, and they will trace decision points in the selection process, including how to determine which tools are suitable for enterprise use.

The practical, structured, single-track curriculum at C2: Connect & Collaborate! will cover what it takes to implement and deploy social networking and collaboration tools, and how to integrate them into the workflow of your organization.
