Rexall Place Edmonton first opened its doors to the public in 1974, when it was known as the Northlands Coliseum. In fact, it wasn't until 2004 that the venue took on its current title. Rexall Place is home to the NHL's Edmonton Oilers, and stands as one of the oldest venues in the National Hockey League.With a seated capacity of over 16,000, over 60 luxury suites, a flexible seating arrangement and state-of-the-art dressing rooms, Rexall Place is undoubtedly one of the premier entertainment events in Edmonton.The venue's superior facilities have seen Rexall Place land some of the biggest events on the Edmonton entertainment calendar.
