      Wild Plant Foraging Retreat

Join us for a wild foraging reatreat learning about the wild edible and medicinal plants, identification, their values and recipes.   All accommodations, food, and transportation are included in the retreat.  We will be learning about topics including wild edible and medicinal plants and thier uses, permaculture gardening, planting microgreens, living food recipes and holistic health while exploring time in nature. We will start our time together in a guest house near Turtle Lake Refuge's Permaculture Farm. We will begin the morning with centering movement, learn about the wild plant communities living on the farm and share time and learning at the Turtle Cafe, a local, wild living foods cafe in Durango.  Our second part of the retreat will be spent at a high mountain hut in the La Plata Mountains about 30 minutes from Durango. Here we will immerse into nature for day hikes, foraging and making food and medicines together. Our food for the retreat will be focused on locally grown, organic, wild and living food meals.
