    Yah, what IS the critical mass for this?? We've got 262 people!! Boston gets an event when they reached about 150. What gives? Wil, DragonCon is a great event with much much more than Trek. They say you've been invited. Please come! :-)

    It doesn't have to be Dragon Con but if you're going to hit the Southeast, Atlanta's a good bet. Orlando is a good choice if you're determined to take the kids to Walt's Shakedown, but Atlanta has more 'cool points'. Miami Beach is closest to LA in superficiality per square mile, so if that's important to you.... remember, though, that Florida is a lonnnnng state, so driving to Miami is out for a lot of potential participants.

    Yeah, what Vixen said -- amazing looking half-nekkid goth chicks who are into geeks. To quote your blog, "Detox Gel." DragonCon blows all other conventions I've been to (lots of WorldCons, et al.) away. Imagine getting a built-in fan base of 10 to 20k fans actively looking for your next project. Pretty cool, huh?
