      4th Annual Who is Jay? Mental Health Symposium

      This is our 4th Annual Mental Health Symposium, open to the community, to anyone interested in learning more about mental health issues and services. Breakout sessions are designed to offer two options to choose from, depending on what the attendee is interested in. CEUs are provided to behavioral healthcare professionals.

      The event schedule and list of presentations and speakers are available at www.whoisjay.org. Speakers include Dr. Sam Tsemberis (who developed the Housing First model), Judge Steven Leifman (who oversees Mental Health Court in Miami-Dade County), and Dr. Sara Jo Nixon (leader in behavioral health research, with UF's McKnight Brain Institute).

      In an effort to target the faith community and raise awareness of the need for faith leaders and congregants to understand mental illness and to look at recovery holistically, we will have Dean Kate Moorehead (Dean of St. John’s Episcopal/Jacksonville, Reverend, and author).

      Registration fee includes the full day of speakers/presentations, parking at the Ocean Center, lunch, refreshments, and up to 5.25 CEU’s for behavioral health professionals. ALSO… All attendees will also receive a copy of The i’MPossible Project Lemonade Stand by Joshua Rivedal (our keynote speaker at lunch).
