LOVE TURNS HATE
LOVE TURNS HATE are five seasoned musicians hailing from the tough Steal Valley of Youngstown Ohio. We have been chasing our rock-n-roll dreams with a variety of bands for as long as we can remember. Between being on the road and writing & recording multiple projects, we collectively have earned enough bumps, bruises & life stories to put out a CD of real substance.
LOVE TURNS HATE was born 2007 as a joint effort of songwriters Jimmi Migliozzi (Vocals) and Tony Young (Guitars). After a previous project had parted ways they rejoined forces along with Brady Brownlee (Guitars), Don Kacenski (Bass), and Leif Damstoft (Drums) and wrote a series of songs that were recorded with Producer Brian Campbell of Jungle Studios (SinOmatic, Cherry Monroe, Downplay). After a break in production, in 2008 LOVE TURNS HATE fired up the R-N-R MACHINE adding some new tunes to their list, as well as taking their high energy, in your face, live show into the local hard rock scene. A performance with the same intensity as the songs you can hear on MySpace and Reverbnation.
In June 2009 LTH went back into JUNGLE STUDIO with Producer Brian Campbell so that a full CD could be completed. Adding to the previously recorded tunes on our profile Let It Rain, Intoxication, Let Love Die & Climb we have Suffocation, Karma, The Never End, Where Ever I Go, Monster, Get Away & a bonus track Haunted. This highly anticipated CD is set to be released some time around late summer/early fall 2010. LOVE TURNS HATE'S "Rain" made it's air-wave debut on 93.3 The Wolf's Home Grown Show with rave reviews. Check it out on Sun nights from 9:00 to 10:00. This local radio support and the buzz the band has created landed them the opening slot for the CHEVELLE show at THE WEDGE in Austintown on May 18th 2009 for THE WOLF'S 21st B-Day Bash! Then on Aug 1st 2009 at The Music Is Art/David Grohl Alley Dedication LOVE TURNS HATE had the high honor of having Dave Grohl join them on stage to rock out one of their own tunes "Get Away" and Zeppelin's "Rock-n-roll". It doesn't get much cooler than that! This event has given LOVE TURNS HATE world wide coverage, including an honorable mention in the Sept issue of ROLLING STONE! It's all been pretty crazy!
