      24th Annual Fountain City Classic Vending

      Classic Magic is Back!!!

      On behalf of the Fountain City Classic (FCC) Chairman, Representative Calvin Smyre and the FCC Vending Chairperson, Joan Stringer the Fountain City Classic thanks you for your support of this longstanding football rivalry between Albany State University and Fort Valley State University. This long standing community event is in its 24th year of promoting community camaraderie and raising funds to assist young adults complete their educational endeavors and dreams. Your support of this particular opportunity goes to assist us in our mission to meet goals to provide financial assistance through scholarships to deserving students of both universities.

      The FCC committee welcomes you to take part of one of the largest entrepreneurial opportunities in the southeast region. The 2012 Fountain City Classic (FCC) vending village which will be held November 8-9, 2013, at the Columbus Trade Center and at the South Commons area of A.J. McClung Memorial Stadium in Columbus, GA. 

      Vendors agreeing to the FCC Vendors Rules and Regulations may be granted a vendor permit for use at the Columbus Trade Center located at 801 Front Avenue, Cols, GA and A.J. McClung Memorial Stadium located at 100 4th Avenue, Cols. GA on November 8-9, 2013.

       Issued permits and vendor identification must be displayed at ALL times and presented upon request by FCC Vending Committee. Vendors please be advised that Fort Valley State (FVSU) and Albany State (ASU) Universities have reserved rights and patents for the use of their respective names and logos. The FCC reserves the rights to permit the use of the FCC logo and FCC patent name. Violators of FCC logo and FCC patent will be removed from the premises by appropriate security and FCC, Inc. WILL NOT BE LIABLE

       Vendors purchasing permits online are required to print proof of purchase and completed vendor permit, as this will be required to redeem your vending location. Printable vendor permits are located on the Fountain City Website under the “EVENTS” tab.  

      All vendors purchasing in advance must pre-register online prior to November 2, 2013 at 6:00P.M.

       

      FCC VENDOR OPPORTUNITIES:

      -Columbus Trade Center, located at 801 1st Avenue, Columbus Georgia. Vending hours are Friday, November 8, 2013 starting at 6:00PM until 2:00 A.M. and Saturday, November 9, 2013 starting at 9:00PM until 2:00AM

       

      -A.J. McClung Memorial Stadium (Fountain City Classic game), located at 400 4th Street, Columbus, Georgia. Vending hours Saturday, November 9, 2013 starting at 7:00AM until 8:00PM

       

       VENDOR REGISTRATION- Please ensure all contact information is accurate as this is pertinent for communication from the FCC Vending Committee of any updates or information which may need to be relayed prior to event.

       Please be advised that the FCC office will no longer receive faxes of vending applications. Vending applications faxed into the office will NOT hold or guarantee vending area; vending spaces will not be held without a minimum of a 50% deposit. Vending spaces are non-refundable (NO EXCEPTIONS).

       All online advance sales for FCC vending opportunities will start September 2, 2013 at 6.AM. and end November 2, 2013 at 6P.M.(NO EXCEPTIONS). After that time ALL sales are deemed "walk-up" or “late registration”. Sales after the advertised cut-off date will be available at the following rates:

       Memorial Stadium Only (late registration) – $200.00

      Trade Center Only (late registration) – $200.00

      Memorial Stadium/Trade Center (late registration) – $250.00

      Vendors, please be advised, food CANNOT be sold in the Columbus Trade Center. Food vendors are invited to vendor at the A.J. McClung Memorial Stadium.
