Calistoga's 3rd Annual Winter in the Wineries, November 30, 2012 through February 10, 2013, offers a relaxed way to tour, taste wine and meet winemakers at 15 heralded wineries, both large and small, in and around this charming small town at the top of Napa Valley.
Recognized in 2009 as an American Viticultural Area (AVA) with distinct geographic features and growing conditions, Calistoga is Napa Valley’s 15th officially designated winegrowing region. Winter in the Wineries’ Passport provides a chance to explore what makes Calistoga unique as a wine-growing region.
Passport holders will have access to a select group of Calistoga wineries for one price of $50 during the two-month period.
Passport holders can visit as many times as they want during that time to use the 15 tastings (one tasting per winery), as well as receive discounts at several of Calistoga's finest restaurants and lodging properties. Participating restaurants will waive corkage for passport holders, and lodgings will offer special room rates for passport holders.
To purchase a passport online, or to view general information, please go to www.CalistogaVisitors.com or call the Calistoga Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center toll free at 866-306-5588.
