      Horse Racing 101 will cover all aspects of the “Sport of Kings” from the history of the sport in New York to the pursuit of the Triple Crown. Discover horse-racing’s most fabled horses, jockeys and trainers and learn the basics of handicapping and betting. Get travel tips for visiting Saratoga Race Course and the Horse Racing Hall of Fame. An optional visit to the grave of Kentucky Derby Winner Exterminator, buried locally, will be offered on Saturday, 5/4/19 at 11am on Derby Day! Whispering Pines Pet Cemetery is located at 3850 Gardner Road, Binghamton, NY 13903 (past Ross Park Zoo). Students must provide their own transportation to Whispering Pines Pet Cemetery.

      This course meets for 3 Tuesdays, March 26 through April 9 from 6:00-8:00pm at SUNY Broome Decker Building AND 1 Saturday, May 4, from 11:00am-noon at Whispering Pines Pet Cemetery.
