Ashland Labor Day Powwow

The arbor on U.S. Highway 212 between Ashland and the St. Labre Mission comes alive during the Labor Day weekend. Drummers and dancers from many tribes participate. Booths are set up for food vendors and Native American art and beadwork. Giveaways, gourd dancing and hand games are part of the festivities. An excellent opportunity to learn about Native American culture.Powwow location is off Highway 212 about 1/2 mile - cross a bridge and to the right - can't miss it.
